PET DIABETES MONTH – NOVEMBER

Posted

Diabetes is the medical term to describe a common disease affecting not only humans but dogs and cats as well. This particular disease may have different types, I and II, depending if there is a lack of insulin production, or resistance to the insulin being produced, both resulting in high levels of sugar in the blood. If diagnosed and treated early, pets can be managed medically with a special diet and insulin injections, and still live a comfortable life.

Common symptoms include increased drinking and urination, increased appetite, and lethargy.

For this month of November, your office visit fee will include a FREE Glucose Test.
